About

Old Head began in 2018 when Jeremy Reichwein started gathering friends to create a loose collective of musicians that love this early Grateful Dead music. The intent was always to have fun exploring a period of the Dead that, while full of songs we all love, had largely been forgotten. Over the next few years the wonderful menagerie of musicians slowly evolved through epic basement jams and hootenannies to distill into the core line-up today:
